3D web browsing

New Post!

Lets take a step in our bright hopeful future on the Internet, wouldn't it be cool to surf the net in 3D?
Well, you have the chance to now to experience browsing in 3D, please don't feel down because this is the early stages of a possible future.
My source for this post is http://www.extremetech.com/article2//0,2845,1974347,00.asp.
These are the current 3D web browsers I could find: 3B, Browse3D and SphereXPlorer.
I won't go into boring and repeated details but the concept of using our graphics card other than gaming but for web browsing is amazing. Also, a cool plugin that you could experiment with is Exitreality. This a great plugin that changes your everyday 2D text and videos to 3D fun mixed with chatting.
You can experiment with these browsers just for fun and nothing serious, great when looking for pictures or shopping online.

What web age are we in?

New Post!

Hey guys, this is a random article about what web are we in, are we in web 3.0 or web 4.0 or whatever version it is these days.
Fact: Currently the latest is WEB 4.0 but that isn't till 1 or more years in the future for everyone! The list goes on till WEB 9.0 since this how far our imagination can take us. WEB 9.0 will take place around 2054, long time right? About 4 more decades and counting!
So our current web age that most experts agree on is web 3.0 since it is being used NOW!
OK, how is this helpful? Nice question to my next paragraph!
(Watch this Youtube video for facts)
Web 1.0 was as most of you smart people already figured was the beginning of the Internet back in the late 1970s created by (WAIT FOR IT!) US military originally as a project code named ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) which acted as a defense information network during the Cold war. This was the FATHER (or MOTHER) of the Internet which was created by Tim Berners-Lee in 1989 - 1990 while working at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). All you had to do was read the information but you couldn't edit it.
Web 2.0 was created so that anyone could read and write data on the Internet. Not much to consider but the cool thing is that when this was created, people were PAID to write new information on the Internet.
Web 3.0 (our current age) is "Write, Read, Execution" - In order words its more SOCIAL with sites like Blogger and Facebook! It gives businesses and group events new meaning. Users Interact much more freely while mailing and chatting online.
WEB 4.0 (FUTURE) should be happening in a year or two. The main concept isn't clear yet but from a techy overview it's more security centered ...yadayadayada stuff.

While, simple answer is we are in WEB 3.0, YAY!
