Linux on Windows (ANY)

New Post!

As I write this I am filled with excitement. About a year ago, I tried to download Linux onto Windows with no avail but I finally was able to fulfil that dream with the help of a Sun (Java) product called VirtualBox.
VirtualBox lets you manage multiply Operating systems with one computer. I ran over VirtualBox by accident and so learnt that I use it to download operating systems like Ubuntu (Linux for average users!)
Ubuntu is a free source Linux distribution operating system. It is FREE and effective! It is also a useful tool for people who are switching over to Linux!

To download Ubuntu visit: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download and make sure to choose desktop version with a server in your country or close to it! Its a long download, 2-3.5 hours on a decent internet connection.
To download VirtualBox visit: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads and make sure to choose your APPROPRIATE default operating system! That is your current operating system! Its a quick 5-15 minutes download on a decent internet connection.

I hope you enjoy using this!
